ABSTRACT
Artificial intelligence (AI) techniques are the methods by which machines like computers can have the ability to think and applying logic like human beings, such as speech recognition, problem solving, etc. Image-processing techniques are the methods for improving the quality of the image and derive information from them. When AI is applied to image-processing techniques, various applications like face detection, pattern recognition, and others can be utilized. This chapter discusses the role of AI in the field of image processing.
