ABSTRACT
The recent development of communication and information technologies has transformed the lives of people. The internet has supported people in various ways to become more flexible and effective for carrying out tasks, from booking a cab to transferring huge amounts of money in just a few clicks. A surge in the users of the internet has led to the inception of notions and devised a new exchange dimension of cryptocurrency. This paper provides diverse perspectives of cryptocurrency and its adoption. It also aims to scrutinize the terms of regulations and legislation, issues faced, and various scams of cryptocurrencies. It also discourses on the potential and implications of cryptocurrency.
