ABSTRACT
Most of the material presented in this chapter has been derived from previous publications by the author, most notably in the Handbook for Validation in Pharmaceutical Processes cited in the References. The principles and practices presented herein are the result of decades of experience with hundreds of major capital projects, a large fraction of them involving biotechnology.
