ABSTRACT

Early career medical physicists face many challenges as they start their medical physics professional life. The search for a job, insecurity at the beginning, and the need to be respected and acknowledged in the field are some of the concerns that an early career medical physicist has to encounter (see Figure 16.1). Additionally, 2020 brings to young professionals a new and hard challenge: COVID-19. Coping with work, personal life, career, and COVID have been very tough for health professionals.
