ABSTRACT

Protein-based surfactants are known to have a wide range of commercial applications. Scope in the structural variation, that is due to the availability of different combinations of amino acids, resulted in the wide variety of proteins-based surfactants that attracted researchers and scientists to explore more in this field. In addition to that, the facile biodegradability and nontoxicity of this class of surfactants make them superior to their conventional synthetic counterparts when exploited for suitable applications.
