ABSTRACT

Taking strategic emerging industry data in China in 2010–2017 as the example, this study employs multiple indicators and regression models to explore the coupling effects between strategic emerging industry structure and employment structure in China. According to the research results, strategic emerging industry structure and employment structure in China are in constant fluctuation with an unstable changing rate. Due to the gradual optimization of industry structure, general downtrend of strategic emerging industry structure and employment structure deviation in China demonstrate the gradual rationality of corresponding structural changes and a strong leading role in employment. The variation of the subdivision strategic emerging industry employment proportion plays varying influences on industry output. Therefore, rational adjustment of strategic emerging industry structure has significant meaning in stabilizing the orderly alteration of emerging industry structure and employment structure, exerting the facilitating role of coupling effects in economic growth and increasing the labor employment rate.
