ABSTRACT

As the economy develops in a rapid way in modern society and the global cultures intermingle and collide with each other, the application of traditional visual guidance design in public space is unable to adapt to the requirement of the rapid development of modern society anymore, while the emergence of an intelligent signage system meets society’s needs for a signage system and the more complex and advanced services in a public space. Among these, the design of an intelligent signage system plays an important role. The issue of how to enable people to use an intelligent signage system conveniently and willingly and how to meet the needs of different people has become a common concern of large-scale commercial entities all over the world. In this paper, an experiment is established and the conclusion is achieved through a user survey of Dalian Hang Lung Plaza, on the basis of the large-scale commercial complex’s intelligent signage system. In this way, consumers can not only experience a more comfortable and convenient shopping environment when shopping, but also consumer satisfaction in regard to the large-scale business complex can be improved through a more efficient shopping experience, thus achieving a higher commercial value. Therefore, the amount of sales of the large-scale commercial complex is further improved, and meanwhile, the overall image of the enterprise is promoted by improving the design of the intelligent signage system in the complex, while the comfort and convenience of consumers in are also enhanced.
