ABSTRACT
With the rapid development of various information technologies based on the network, mobile and cloud, the society’s needs for the major of information management and information system have also changed. Therefore, the major of information management and information system needs to adjust its construction direction to adapt to the development of the society. This paper first analyzes deficiencies in the construction of information management and information system specialty in School of Economics and Management at China University of Geosciences, and then puts forward the construction of course group, establishes the course group teaching team to improve students’ practical ability, and has achieved certain results by the continuous promotion of course group construction. Finally, the paper summarizes and puts forward the direction of further efforts.
