ABSTRACT

This paper investigates consumers’ satisfaction of online vocational education in China, and gives some suggestions to the online education platforms. Combining the characteristics of online vocational education with consumer satisfaction theory, the authors created a model analyzing satisfaction on online vocational education platforms. Through a survey in Chinese colleges, they collected data from college students who are the main consumers of online vocational education in China. Then, they used SPSS software to conduct descriptive analysis and regression analysis on the data. The results show that all the variables in the model are significantly correlated with the results, and the platform interface and operation, diversified courses, and teaching methods of the platform are the most significant elements with effects on satisfaction. Based on the results of this analysis, three suggestions are proposed for the future development of online vocational education platforms.
