ABSTRACT
Internet of Everything (IOE) is a revolutionary step toward the development of a global village, with the drive of connections on a level humanity is yet to witness. Following the ongoing progression of the Internet of Things (IoT), wherein implantation of technology in objects is made feasible to bring about interactions with the extrinsic environment, IOE holds the catalyzation even further through the creation of a dynamic process with minimal human intervention. The propitious achievements of IOE include advancements in industrialization, accommodating new prospects according to the reception of responses, and vast improvements in product manufacturing adhering to the functioning of various fields. However, as devices get connected down to a very minute measure, security concerns remain to be a matter of constant deliberation. The rate of data collection, a key component in the mechanism of IOE, would be taken to alarming heights, in turn generating several vulnerabilities. This chapter will review the futuristic aspects of IOE, the provision of opportunities, what it means for globalization, and the potential challenges it may face in the upcoming era.
