ABSTRACT
Gas leaks have become a problem throughout the world. The leakage of gas is a common phenomenon that takes place due to the improper seal of gas pipes or even canisters. The detection of these leaks is very important to prevent accidents which may in some cases turn into major calamities. In this chapter, various sensors connected with each other with the help of a Raspberry Pi to analyze the gas in a specific area to predict these leaks. This model is able to identify the fluctuation of a specific gas in an area, and it will immediately send intimation and alert the concerned individuals. Another key perk to this chapter is it focuses upon storing the sensor data on a cloud platform so that it can be accessible by anyone remotely anywhere with a stable connection. Most of the existing methods are limited to an alarm or siren to intimate local habitants of the area. They failed to take any actions to intimate people offsite. The major advantage of this chapter over other similar papers present in the modern world is its ability to alert and constantly monitor abilities.
