ABSTRACT

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system connecting such things as data collection from different sensors that can be shared to the cloud, enabling, for example, the computing and drafting of an analysis report out of it with precision and reliability and minimum human error. An increase in medical conditions has lead to new research in treating patients and IoT-based systems has lead to smart rehabilitation which not only allows for assessment but also the management, with safety in data keeping and provision, to be resilient in coping with conditions and with different approach to be solved with smart rehabilitation. The architecture connected with smart rehabilitation system is such that the normal person and patient can also use it. The sensor technology allows the assessment and readings in the hand, so the patient can be more confident and active while coping with the condition, and the internet technology can send data from the patient to the doctor with the report gathered through the sensor technology. This technology is nowadays followed with the mobile health, E health and Tele health, brain-computer interface. The acceptance of this technology is yet to be increased by the population at large.
