ABSTRACT

Over the last decade, it is estimated that noteworthy researches have been led in the fields of healthcare services and the administration of cutting-edge technologies. Healthcare professionals have been researching smart devices and other medical technology, also the internet of things (IoT), for a long time. It is acknowledged that there is a possibility of connecting the two communities and improving self-care modalities especially for rural and remote residents. As a result of increased growth opportunities and dramatic cost savings, the healthcare market has undergone dramatic changes in terms of efficiency, pricing and usability in recent years. There is also a how-to guide on the various types of medical advancements that can occur as a result of using IoT technologies. Because of its potential to aid in the application of current and diverse technologies, as well as the application of applied methods to resolve healthcare issues, the IoT in Healthcare is expected to be covered in the final segment. Furthermore, numerous potential problems and inconsistencies with the IoT-H approach are frequently highlighted. Current and future researchers interested in the subject will gain a better understanding of the numerous fields of possible IoT-H implementations that will need to be studied in order to fully appreciate the effect and impact on any of those numerous IoT applications as a result of this chapter.
