ABSTRACT

Smart manufacturing solves upcoming problems through a wide infrastructure, which makes solutions enforced at the speed of business, whereas making advantage worth. Drones have taken off in several industries, both consumer and industrial. The drone technology continuously fascinates everyone from aerial photography to search and rescue operations or police investigations, observation of acres of agricultural lands to managing shipping and delivery. The era of Industry 4.0 has already begun and will provide major improvements to the profitability of the smart manufacturing process. Smart factories will utilize drones to perform tasks because they can vary significantly in functionality, mobility, dexterity, intelligence, and cost. A combination of cyber-physical systems, cloud computing platforms, and artificial intelligence has changed the working of traditional drones into a futuristic technology. Monitoring of factories by surveillance drones and processing the vital parameters monitored through edge AI will instill localized smartness in factories. Also, the integration of aerial technologies and edge AI has a wider scope in manufacturing industries, where human intervention is tedious. The demand for sustainable energy is growing rapidly day by day. So, there is a need for inspection for PV arrays.
