ABSTRACT
In today’s world, flexible teaching and learning is very important. Hybrid-Flexible (HyFlex) course models where students can take a course in person and/or online, and seamlessly move between the two modalities, are very likely the wave of the future. This chapter describes ways to create a student-centered HyFlex course using a Flipped teaching model (HyFlexFlip or HFF). Pre-class video lectures support active learning problem-solving (live in person, live online, or asynchronous online).
