ABSTRACT
In an effort to provide direction for organizations struggling to manage volatile energy costs, this chapter will dissect two successful integrated energy management (IEM) programs—one in the federal sector (Fort Bragg) and one in the commercial sector (Smart and Final Stores, Inc.). The two programs share a common technology platform and approach which have contributed to more than six years of successful energy cost management.
