ABSTRACT
Introducing a real-time accident prevention system that modern technologies bring to life, this chapter discusses the importance of a road-accident prevention system, goes through some statistics and facts, and then, looks through the needs for such a system today. A brief uptake on how drowsiness is an incitement to such accidents and how the detection of it at an early stage can save the lives of people, the chapter discusses the algorithm of the proposed system as implementing Computer Vision and Deep Learning Neural Networks while walking the reader through the steps of creating such a system, and through all the user requirements that make such a system a necessity. Finally, the system’s testing result metrics are presented. Thus, this chapter quickens readers’ understanding of the importance of such a system, helps them to create one, and provides ways and means to analyze it critically.
