ABSTRACT

Energy management systems in buildings are able to provide the necessary indicators of the microclimate while increasing energy efficiency through intelligent monitoring and smart management. To form a knowledge base on effective control algorithms for executive mechanisms of engineering systems of buildings at the initial stage, it is necessary to have an understanding of their condition. Such assessment is implemented at the stage of energy audit of the building on the basis of calculating the components of energy consumption and energy consumption of the building. The paper presents stages of software solutions development for the calculation of energy balance for various buildings. The analytical basis is centered around the 5R1C ISO 13790 model, taking into account national characteristics. The information required for the calculation of energy efficiency indicators of buildings is established on the basis of design documentation or based on the results of identifying the actual condition of the building. At the initial stage, the information necessary for the calculation of energy efficiency indicators of buildings is introduced: climatic conditions, functional purpose of the building, geometric parameters, etc. In the next stage, the data of the building’s engineering systems, heat and electricity meters, type of regulation of heating system, ventilation, cooling, lighting, and hot water supply are determined. According to the calculation modules, the values of the energy balance are obtained. The obtained results of calculation of indicators of energy efficiency of the building, indicators of thermal technical characteristics of their enclosing designs, indicators of energy efficiency of their engineering systems are compared with the minimum requirements to energy efficiency of buildings according to national features.
