ABSTRACT

In Nanjing-Maanshan (N-M) expressway project, intelligent control technology was developed and used in asphalt pavement construction, through which, mixing, transportation, paving and compacting data, were collected and transmitted separately to data center, so as to make statistical analysis and intelligent feedback. Due to the realization of real-time collecting construction quality data, rapid evaluation for the key indicators such as asphalt aggregate ratio, transporting time, paving temperature and compacting times etc. were done. Results showed that developing the intelligent control technology for asphalt pavement achieved the whole construction process quality inspection and data monitoring, so as to effectively avoid the unstable factors affecting construction quality, guaranteeing the certified rate for expressway construction.
