ABSTRACT

Since it is impossible to accurately grasp the continuously changing field temperature of the bi-block ballastless track, a simple method of estimating the field temperature is used in engineering applications. In order to analyze and evaluate its suitability, a numerical simulation analysis of long-term field temperature changes under a large temperature difference was carried out. The results show that it is reasonably feasible to estimate the overall temperature by measuring the temperature of the point halfway through the thickness of the slab panel, however, the method of estimating the overall temperature gradient is not effective in actual application, which is obtained by calculating temperature difference between the top and the bottom sides of the cross-section. The deviation of the overall temperature estimation is less than 1 ℃, and the deviation ratio of the overall temperature gradient estimation can exceed 40 %.
