ABSTRACT
At the end of 2019, the world was hit with the COVID-19 pandemic, called also the coronavirus pandemic. The thing that makes this virus dangerous is its ability to be transmitted quickly from one person to another. It is transmitted primarily through saliva precipitation or discharge from the nose after an infected individual has either coughed or sniffed. Data analytics are used in various areas to analysis different phenomena. So, in the present chapter, we review the utility of data analytics methods for fighting COVID-19. Furthermore, we discuss various challenges that scientists must resolve and the opportunities that are offered by this epidemic.
