ABSTRACT

Nanotechnology-mediated developed medicine is now an emerging trend for the treatment of neuropathic pain (NeP). It creates rapid advancement to resolve the pharmaceutical challenges associated with various drugs. Among all kinds of NeP, the most common and challenging kind of pain in NeP is associated with diabetes. About 230 million people have been reported as patients of diabetes, and this has become a global challenge due to partial/ unsatisfactory relief from pain. Nanomedicine has provided a lot of attention to the medical science, pharmaceutical as well as biosciences in the treatment of chronic disease state due to uniqueness in physiochemical and biological advancement. Here, we are going to highlight the emerging role of nanomedicine in diabetic neuropathy (DPN), road backs of nanomedicine with its toxicity along with this we discussed about the future aspects of nanomedicine in the diabetic NeP.
