ABSTRACT
Redox signaling has become an active research field in health and disease processes, and hydrogen peroxide is a major signaling agent. This chapter briefly describes current knowledge on the subcellular distribution of H2O2 and its regulation, with emphasis on the role of the peroxiporins.
