ABSTRACT
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a disease caused by corona virus. People those who get infected with corona experience fever, cough, etc. Especially seniors of underlying medical problems such as blood pressure, lung disease and low immune system have chances of developing severe illness. The best way of stopping and reducing its spread is by protecting ourselves and by washing hands or using alcohol-based sanitizer; hands need to be rubbed frequently. Nowadays global lockdown is there due to pandemic and epidemic caused by COVID-19. COVID-19 was first found in China and has affected public health and global economy, causing global lockdown. COVID-19 is highly infectious and spreads rapidly worldwide making its early diagnosis of great importance. The novel corona virus causes damage inside lungs of COVID-19 patients. Damages are mainly located in the lung periphery, subpleural area and both lower lobes.
