ABSTRACT
Technology is ever evolving and the field of otology like every other field of modern medicine is continuously changing with these technological advances. There are various areas where technological advances have revolutionized the outlook towards contemporary clinical practice and it is essential for the current generation of otologists to stay abreast with these new developments in order to stay relevant in practice of contemporary medicine. No part of patient care is untouched by the new technological developments and the role for new age technology in medicine is ever expanding. The modern-day medical practitioners have to adapt to all these changes and try to integrate the offerings of modern technology in their day-to-day practice.
