ABSTRACT
Over the past decade, compared to metal and ceramic materials, polymers are being increasingly used in dental applications due to their excellent and easily regulated mechanical properties, good biofunctionalities, and easy processing. This chapter outlines the present understanding and design of polymeric dental materials.
