ABSTRACT

The objective of this review chapter is to improve the flux pinning and critical current density (Jc) of bulk MgB2 materials for day-today life applications and to highlight the aim of United Nation’s sustainable goals. It ponders upon systematic study on silver addition combined with optimum processing conditions on MgB2 bulk material is crucially important to further improvement of the critical current density (Jc) and optimization of the mechanical performance to utilize this material for several industrial applications. The bulk MgB2 superconducting material is a solid candidate for trending and upcoming magnet applications. Superconductors are important part to create a sustainable energy manipulation that addresses some of the SDGs.
