ABSTRACT

This study defines an infant health monitoring system for working parents so that the parents can always have an eye on their loved ones. This system uses wireless sensor networks and the Internet of Things (IoT) to provide many lifesaving health parameters as well as video and audio of the infant. Arduino Uno microcontroller is the central processing unit of the system and it is used to control all the sensors. The system uses different sensors to provide many real-time health parameters, on the mobile phones of the parents. It also provides wakeup and crying alert messages to the parents. All the sensed data received from the sensors will be sent to the Cloud. The Cloud will then manipulate the data according to the parents’ needs. The system can be deployed anywhere in any possible way as per the user.
