ABSTRACT

Nowadays, the whole world is using smart and automation-based systems through which one can benefit in terms of time and profit margin. These days technology affects all the fields such as automobile, irrigation system, etc., where manual systems are replaced. Now keeping this view in mind, this project is based on a smart irrigation system implemented using the Arduino-Uno microcontroller. The smart irrigation system consists of an Arduino-Uno, temperature sensor, humidity sensor, and control mechanism for water flow. The information getting from humidity sensor and temperature sensor will forward to data monitoring system by Arduino-Uno. At the monitoring place, the temperature and humidity levels are monitored and decided that which type of crops are presently in the field and how much moisture they need and then any decrease in wetness level below a limit will show the need for water and signal is given to the water pump for the water flow. As soon as the humidity sensor reading reaches a specific value the water pump will automatically turned off.
