ABSTRACT

This work aims to propose a cost-effective healthcare management system with a wheelchair that provides fall detection mechanism. The system works with the help of the Internet of Things which informs the doctors to supervise the patient in terms of medical aspects, irrespective of the place, whether the patient is in hospital or at their home. In this project, various sensors or smart devices are used and the parameters like human body temperature, pulse rate, etc. are recorded in the cloud. Furthermore, the data is uploaded to a website, and a database will be stored for future reference. The real time is presented in graphical form and may be monitored across the globe. The developed system may be integrated with telemedicine applications.
