PDE-based time-dependent model for image restoration with forward-backward diffusivity

In the image processing community, image denoising and deblurring, data compression, edge detection, etc. are the most challenging and basic hurdles. We address a new nonlinear anisotropic diffusion model for image denoising and deblurring. To judge our model, we compared the existing model to obtain good results. To discretize for both nonlinear anisotropic diffusion models, we have used an explicit scheme and numerical experimental results are discussed.
