ABSTRACT

pH meters are essential lab and industry equipment that are extensively used for measurement of pH values of the unknown solutions. pH meters currently available use cumbersome diagnostic techniques that require lots of measurement precautions, calibrations and standardization. The novel interactive pH meter is developed to overcome the existing problem. Interactive pH meter provides the efficient way to measure the readings and the microcontroller ensures that the calculations are done on standard measurements, eliminating the use of temperature compensation. A touch-screen display has been used for providing an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) to the user. This paper provides designing of an interactive, portable, and cost-effective pH meter that is capable of measuring pH values without temperature compensation and storing pH values measured. The acquired pH values are then transferred to a computational system, connected to the network through internet gateway for Internet of Things (IoT).
