Induction motor has been the best choice for the indutries over many decades. Therefore, many control schemes are evolved and practiced by the industrries. In the present decade, the application of the soft computing approach, robust technique, and optimizing methods in an asynchronous induction motor control is rising for the optimal performance of motor. In this paper, Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) as a soft computing technique, Internal Mode Control (IMC) as a robust technique, and meta-heuristics approach as an optimization technique are tested for the optimal performance of vector control of asynchronous motor. The results are illustrated using MATLAB.
