ABSTRACT
The main aim is to bridge the traditional system and technology in the higher education system. This chapter introduces technology related to higher education. Internet of Things (IOT) is comprised of physical objects connected to the Internet, sensors, and computer systems. In the new paradigm of educational fields, IOT can be utilized in the teaching-learning process, which in turn helps to improve and create new opportunities in an education field. It allows the reader to understand what technology is and how it is used in higher education. Rapid and extensive technological development provides people to access data and service provision in an educational institution is challenged to implement IoT facilities. This chapter gives a brief idea about different approaches in higher education and the incipient higher education system. Further, it explains the Internet of Things (IoT) applications in the teaching-learning process. Digital transformation will provide new trends in the future education system.
