ABSTRACT

The Internet of Things (IoT) is designed so that all the everyday electronic embedded-based objects are connected to the World Wide Web. The objects may be smartphone devices, Internet TVs, electronic system boards, embedded products, sensors, motors, and actuators. These devices are intelligently linked together to transfer meaningful information automatically. IoT enables the communication between things and people, and between things themselves at any time and anywhere. From the most miniature sensors to measure temperature and complete control of surgical operating room systems, the medical Internet of Things (mIoT) helps to save patients’ lives and change the practice of the practitioners’ practice. This mIoT system captures medical data real time remotely and stores it in the edge fog cloud. MIoT has three layers, such as device layer, network layer, and fog edge cloud layer. The mobile app helps patients in many ways to assist them in taking medicine on time and alerts them when vital parameter values fall below critical. The smart wear device monitors patients all the time. There are many wearable devices to assist medical doctors in patient monitoring. Pandemic diseases force the hospital field to use telemedicine and mIoT to avoid infections.
