ABSTRACT

The work is devoted to the study of changes in the strength and deformation characteristics of building structures, depending on the additional efforts in the structures arising from the settlement of foundations of neighboring buildings and structures. The studies were carried out using various models widely used in construction practice, while considering various approaches to modeling the foundation. Both the traditional method using the subgrade factor and the description of three-dimensional finite elements were used. The importance of the correct assignment of the parameters for subsoil is shown. The study shows that the change in the stress-strain state of building structures according to different calculation methods can change up to 20% for columns and 40% for shear walls.
