ABSTRACT

The article presents the results of numerical simulation of aerodynamic processes for mixing dust-air flow with a temperature of +2°C (from the pneumatic system of the non-metallic materials processing shop) with hot exhaust gases at a temperature of 120°C (from the furnace room of the limestone dust production shop). We have developed geometric models of a flow mixing unit and a pneumatic system cyclone. We also have determined the optimal ratio between dust-air and gas flow rates to ensure the reliability of cyclone operation and increase the cleaning efficiency to capture moist sticky coarse dust at negative outdoor temperatures.
