ABSTRACT
The article presents an analytical assessment of the method of thermal calculation of boiler units in the two latest editions developed by the All-Russian Thermal Engineering Institute and I. Polzunov Central Boiler and Turbine Institute. The comparison of the methods was carried out using the author’s calculation program, compiled according to the last two editions, and the comparison of the results was carried out based on the operational testing chart of DKVr-20-13 steam boilers. The main balance values and specific performance indicators of the DKVr-20-13 boiler unit were subjected to comparative analysis, the dependences of which are presented and analyzed in the article.
