ABSTRACT

This chapter comprehensively introduces the application of 2D nanomaterials in flexible supercapacitors (FSCs) from the perspective of materials that focuses on researching various layered electrode materials, electrolytes, and corresponding preparation methods. This chapter begins by briefly introducing the structure of FSCs, including electrolyte and substrate. After that, the intelligent design and construction of 2D nanomaterials for FSCs are emphatically highlighted, including 2D carbon materials (graphite, graphenes, and graphynes), phosphorenes, MXenes, and transition metal dichalcogenides. The assembly and practical applications of FSCs are also discussed. Finally, conclusions and future perspectives are put forward.
