ABSTRACT

Continuous progress in the energy conversion systems, such as the suggestion and preparation of different low-cost materials with remarkable electrochemical behavior, leads to creating energy requirements for the future. Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) have newly been introduced as great energy conversion materials owing to their electrical conductivity, thermal stability, and abundant active surface sites. Also, TMP materials indicate special properties such as enhance light absorption, accelerate charge transfer, and strengthen photostability. Therefore, these types of compounds are known as excellent materials to fabricate different solar cells. This work summarizes the applications of TMP materials in the solar cells.
