ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the fundamental concepts that help in understanding the role of the homoeopathic system of medicine in the prevention, treatment, and management of patients having influenza-like illnesses or COVID-19. It discusses the scientists, academicians, educators, and professionals who are at all familiar with the subject of homoeopathy. The concepts of homoeopathy in relation to the ongoing pandemic are presented in a way that is easily understandable for a common person as well as a professional. Lots of myths and misinformation are circulating regarding homoeopathy in relation to COVID-19 and may cause harm if not checked at the proper time. The conventional system addresses symptomatic management, but homoeopathy treats the patient who has the disease. The back-to-back waves of the COVID-19 pandemic have made a devastating impact globally. The conventional healthcare system is going through serious pressure as cases of the disease continue to spread and the numbers of hospitalizations are increasing every moment.
