ABSTRACT

With the effective proposition and implementation of green chemistry solutions and intervention of appropriate stakeholders-policy makers, legislators, environmentalists, chemists, and government agencies-it is anticipated that authors will be able to eradicate all issues and render the planet earth greener and safer. However, in view of urgent environmental and economic needs, the focus of the future researchers should be on utilizing renewable and abundant raw materials as precursors for designing catalysts and substitute the unsustainable use of expensive, toxic, and fossil resources as catalysts. Undeniably, green chemistry is an important tool for achieving sustainability and has provided a new direction to budding researchers for developing technologies that can meet the needs of the present generation without compromising on the resources of the future generation.
