ABSTRACT

Over the years, the world has seen several new e-learning practices. There are millions of e-learning models that are being applied in all spheres of the educational system. Among them, blended learning and flipped learning are considered the most acceptable e-learning approaches. Blended learning combines both online and traditional ways of learning. Flipped classroom is essential for the appropriate application of blended learning. The flipped classroom is a reversed classroom where students can access the contact of the subject matter before facing the classroom intraction with their teacher. The flipped classroom is one of the finest e-learning models which has reversed classroom learning. Here, students can acquire the knowledge of new instructional content outside their classroom. A teacher plays the role of a transmitter of knowledge and facilitates pupil to acquire knowledge; here, the teacher helps students to develop skills and increase the competency level to make students become perfect. This chapter explores the blended learning and flipped classroom approaches and their implications in the practical field. These two approaches explain how value-based poems and theme-based songs are helpful in arousing interest among students through a digital environment. In this digital environment, students are getting acquainted 236with a virtual platform, and they are allowed to perform activities together to reach their desired destination or to achieve goals. Students use social media such as Facebook or WhatsApp as a part of the flipped classroom approach. It creates a congenial atmosphere between teachers and students when they engage themselves in discussion.
