ABSTRACT

This study is about the disturbances due to normal ramp-type heat in a two-dimensional homogeneous isotropic nonlocal thermoelastic solid with two temperatures in the generalized theory of thermoelasticity. Laplace and Fourier transforms have been used to solve the problem. The analytical expressions of stress components, displacement components, and temperature change have been obtained in the transformed domain and numerical inversion technique has been applied to obtain the results in the physical domain. Numerical-simulated results are depicted graphically to show the effect of two temperatures and nonlocal parameter on the components of displacements, stresses, and conductive temperature. Some special cases have also been deduced from the present investigation.
