ABSTRACT

Thai cooking and dining have retained the position as one of the most admired cuisines of the world. Being nurtured and anchored through strong roots in the history and tradition of Thai cultural values, an attempt is made in this chapter to uncover the principal features that inspire other great kitchens of the world with ideas about cooking and dining in the future. Comparison of major consumer trends during- and post-Covid-19 with the constituents of Thai food and their benefits provided clues to the future of this national cuisine. The epilogue of trivial from the authors’ perspectives is included to strengthen these speculations.
