In other words, a chatbot is a computer programme capable of having a conversation with a person without human intervention. This chapter will analyze existing studies to date on chatbots in education. For this purpose, the Web of Science database will be used. These databases are considered the most relevant in the field of social sciences. They are also the JCR reference databases. The type of study to be carried out is based on a systematic review. In this case, a scientific literature selection protocol based on PRISMA will be applied. The results to be obtained in this study are mainly based on knowing which are the main lines of research developed in the educational field, as well as identifying the educational practices developed in each of the researches.
