ABSTRACT

Big Data will really become valuable and play an important role in healthcare systems. Nowadays, it grows faster, secure, easier, and more accurate, and there is accuracy in Big Data. The Big Data techniques have been used increasingly in the analysis of data in various fields from medicine to organization, education and energy applications. This study applies classification of Big Data techniques to process the data and survey of active learning regarding selection methods, query strategies, applications and security. Big Data and IoT technology are rapidly gaining attention in the healthcare industry as these are most advanced and emerging technologies of the system. Due to rapid changing nature of healthcare industries, there are numerous opportunities such as to reduce the transaction costs, increase transparency for regulatory reporting, enable efficient healthcare data management, and ensure healthcare records universality as well as able to access data from any location. In the context of smart health, Big Data methods may provide different benefits in the field of healthcare system; particularly, by using the Big Data concept, we are able to provide the home monitoring and flexible appointments so as to reduce the time and cost and increase the living standard of society. This work provides the details and the relationship between Big Data and IoT appliances related to smart healthcare system. In addition, we have discussed several challenges for actually implementing Big data concept using IoT-based secure applications in the healthcare industry along with several opportunities for future research directions.
