ABSTRACT
Blockchain is most used for trading purposes related to cryptocurrency in the form of bitcoins. This chapter seeks to highlight the broader perspective on using blockchain technology. It is mainly to elucidate the concept of blockchain and cryptography-related security and how these two can provide helpful solutions to trust problems about data. The chapter describes how blockchain technology can help in tracking the medical supplies of infected individuals. The research work consists of a theoretical elucidation of major concepts about blockchain technology and its applications.
