ABSTRACT

In the current scenario of the ever-increasing competitive market, efficient supply chain execution is one of the profit-making pillars of every organization. The health of the Supply Chain depends upon the organization’s ability to horizontally and vertically integrate the end-to-end processes of procuring raw materials, transforming them into finished products, and delivering them to the customers. AI can be portrayed as a catch-all term for innovation that includes intelligent machines trained to act and reason like humans. The inbuilt capability of a machine to perform human-like functions, for instance, learning, cooperating with the surroundings, critical thinking, and practicing creative decision making to make choices, execute the range of plans and accomplish desired objectives. Proper warehousing is a crucial activity to measure the health of any logistics firm. One of the most challenging decisions in the lifecycle of a supply chain manager is estimating the amount of inventory to be stocked, considering the demand for the product.
