ABSTRACT

Artificial intelligence (AI) consists of a set of computational technologies developed to sense, learn, reason, and act appropriately. The applications for AI are endless. The technology can be applied to many different sectors and industries. Supply chain management is one of the most challenging fields which emphasizes interactions among different sectors, primarily marketing, logistics, and production. AI has been effectively used in projection and forecasting. Organizations are always keen to balance both supply and demand. The use of AI has transformed the manufacturing sector, from virtual assistants to advanced robotics, and has enabled manufacturing companies to produce more with fewer errors to adept demand. AI has played a significant role in the warehouse by better optimization of assets and processes and designing the best teams, i.e., people and robots. AI has enabled retailers to increase both the number of customers and the average amount they spend by creating personal and convenient shopping experiences.
